In the 21st century, we live with the world at our fingertips…literally.
The world has opened up to us. New opportunities are ours to take.
But sometimes this access to information, entertainment, and social connection distract us from the world at the end of our nose: our families, our friends, and our work.
How can we fight distractions and relegate our phones, computers, and digital tools to their proper purpose in our lives?
Sometimes it’s as easy as physically removing the distraction. It’s harder to mentally check out from the people in front of us if we have to physically check out and go retrieve our phone.
It’s about being present-minded and not living life in front of a screen.
